personal Project
Human perception is shaped by the tension between objective reality and subjective experience. While the world exists as a shared space, individual interpretation renders each encounter unique, shaped by reinforcement and internalized truths.
This project explores the intersection of memory, reinforcement, and perception, challenging viewers to consider how their truths are formed. By planting conceptual "seeds," the work provokes reflection on how subjective experiences are shaped by calculated patterns of behaviour and belief systems.
Drawing on theories from B.F. Skinner’s behavioural experiments and the philosophical chaos of Mr. Nobody by Jaco Van Dormael, the project combines provocative visuals and text to engage the audience. Inviting viewers to question their individualized frameworks, the work disrupts assumptions and encourages deeper introspection into how personal truths are constructed.
